The Canadian Government takes there good ol time when it comes to handing out money to the people who they owe it has been since 2004 when my husband had to stop working. There is still no decision made on whether he’s going to get anything. He has been so down lately that he has to go for help to learn how to deal wwith things. We are not crying hard times cause we want too. We are doing it so other people don’t have to go through this like he has had too. It’s just not fair how they say that they decide whether it’s a good idea to give people money. They have no idea how he has to go through life in pain 24/7. He has jumped through their hoops and done everything that they have asked him too. He’s gone to all the doctors and all of them but one say that he can’t work. They still won’t give him anything to help him. He can’t even get help to get medications because i get 20.00 more a month than what i would get on welfare. It just seem like they don’t care cause they have a job that they can do. Just put them in our situation and see how far they will go through it.

I am very disappointed in my government. They don’t care about the people that helped them get into their position. My husband not been able to work in the past five years due to an injury he got while he was in school. He has suffered for about 20 years in pain but about five years ago our family Doctor took him off work. In that time frame he has had no money or help what so ever. He has tried on numerous of occasions to get disability and the won’t give him the money that he deserves. So he is getting pretty down about the whole thing.
